Blackville School is located in County Pottinger. It opened as a Provisional School in May 1876. It was a Public School from January 1878, but was closed in October 1881. It was re-opened as a House to House School in August 1883. From July 1890 it operated as a Half-Time School, first with Yarraman as its partner and then with St Helena. From July 1893 it was a Provisional School, and from April 1911 a Public School. The entry concludes with a dash because the school is still operating. The school has had a change of name, having been known as Black Creek until January 1878; the figure (2) indicates that this was the second school to have the name Black Creek.

Neutral Bay school is located in County Cumberland. It opened as a Public School in June 1886, and was raised in status to a Superior Public School in August 1898. From January 1913 the school's character as both a Primary and a Secondary School is indicated by the designation p+. Two distinct  secondary courses were offered, commercial and home science. From 1916 until the end of 1920 the school was classified simply as a Public School. Between January 1921 and December 1940 the school offered a variety of secondary courses in addition to the primary course: it was either a Junior Technical School or a Boys Intermediate High School for the secondary boys and either a Home Science School or a Girls Intermediate High School for the secondary girls. From 1941 to 1943 the school was classified as a Public School, and from 1944 to 1948 as a Central School. The school has been a Public School since 1949, and is still operating.
